Putting on the Stickers
Transcript
Today we're going to put the stickers on the keys. The first thing you want to do is to find the note "C." C is always the white note to the left of the two blacks. So, if you look at the piano, you'll see that it has two blacks everywhere.
Anywhere there are two blacks, the note to the left of it is a C.
But what you want to do is to find the C that is most in the middle of your keyboard. That's "Middle C."
On that one, we're going to put the sticker numbered "one" (1).
Now, I usually put it to the back of the key so if the child plays on the front of the key or even in the middle of the key, it doesn't obscure the number.
We just go up the scale, putting on the stickers. Usually the child likes to put on the stickers, so maybe they come out a little askew, but that's okay. We could always redo them.
A regular child's setup is up to twelve.
And that's it, the stickers are on. It's easy to use them and it's easy to take them off. Here's a little test. (Plays Beethoven's Ode To Joy)
And that's it, the stickers are on.
