Playing piano music with numbers is a way of playing piano without reading music. Instead of notes, you use numbers. First, you number the keys with removable, numbered stickers.
Kids readily understand numbers.
But reading music is actually quite difficult for children. That is why we use the "kid's language" of piano music numbers. By starting with numbers, we use a language kids already understand.
